There are many things wrong with this film, but it can best be summed up like this: I could feel my brain cells burn themselves to smoldering mess as I was trying to follow this incredible stupidity that somehow passes for a film. Other than that, this also has to be one of the stupidest screenplays ever written. If it were at least somewhat watchable, this film could be used as an example of how not to tell a story, and how not to write a screenplay, but as it is, it is useless. Not even two great actors in leading roles could save this tragedy that is killing itself trying to be funny. Watch it at your own risk. I had to stop after seeing half of it - it never gets better, only worse.

One of the worst movies I've ever tried to watch

If it were possible to allocate zero stars, I would do it. This movie is an incredible waste of time and money. Think how much money must have been wasted in the making of it. And the lighter wallets of those watching it. It beggars belief. After twenty minutes I was beginning to wonder. Is it me? Or is this film truly rubbish? But I got to about half-way through — and switched off the TV. Watching paint dry would have been more fun. What plot there was hadn't been thought out in the slightest. The characters just flitted about without a care in the world. Law enforcement was nowhere to be seen. And it was obvious from the outset that what they "planned" to achieve, they would do so eventually, but only in a movie; in real life never in a million years.

Quite honestly, anyone that stupid, in the movie, deserves to lose everything. Perhaps the best thing about the half-movie I watched was the several rather delectable supporting actresses.

I don't know whether my review contains any spoilers, as some readers manage to construe spoilage from a misplaced full stop. So I've made sure I checked the "Spoilers" box in order that I'm not cast into the wilderness — and even that would be a more interesting experience than The Love Punch.

Embarrassingly bad

One of the worst movies I have ever seen, I even signed up to write this review, it was that bad. Implausible, ridiculous, stupid, cheesy, bad, bad, bad. I watched it all as I really could not believe that such good actors would lower themselves to this trash, even they could not lift this rubbish. Did I mention that this movie was bad? Have given it 1 because there is not an option to give 0 The humour was terrible, the plot ridiculous, the way ordinary people became criminals a joke, Timothy Spalls character stupid. Everything was bad, bad, bad. If ever you think of watching this movie, don't. I have to write a few more words to reach the limit, so I write BAD BAD BAD, REALLY BAD
